Blair Anderson is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in Louisiana. She earned her Associate’s degree from South Louisiana Community College and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child & Family Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She recently completed a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Military and Veterans Counseling.

During her clinical training and internship experiences, Blair worked with a diverse range of individuals navigating challenges related to substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. She has experience working with clients involved in the legal system and is particularly interested in supporting behavioral change through accountability, insight-building, and relapse prevention. Blair also has experience facilitating both individual, couples, and group counseling and values the therapeutic growth that can occur within both settings.

Blair approaches counseling with a client-centered and strengths-based perspective, emphasizing the importance of safety, collaboration, and trust in the therapeutic relationship. She strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and move toward meaningful change. Blair integrates evidence-based approaches while focusing on practical tools that support emotional regulation, personal growth, and long-term well-being.

As a developing clinician, Blair values ongoing learning, reflective practice, and clinical supervision to continue strengthening her skills and provide thoughtful, ethical care to those she serves.
