Blair Anderson
Counseling Intern
Blair earned her Associate’s degree from South Louisiana Community College before completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child & Family Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Military & Veterans Counseling, which she is expected to complete in December 2025.
During her internship, Blair has worked with a diverse range of clients, gaining experience in supporting individuals facing substance use challenges, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. She has experience providing evidence-based counseling to individuals involved in the legal system, with a focus on accountability, relapse prevention, and promoting positive behavioral change. She collaborates closely with colleagues and supervisors to deepen her skills and integrate constructive feedback as she grows into her role as a clinician.
Blair is committed to providing client-centered care, promoting a safe and collaborative environment for both individual and group sessions. She strives to empower clients through evidence-based interventions and practical coping strategies that support their mental health and overall well-being.
